Objectives

To promote and disseminate the progress of the field of population studies by cooperating with academic institutions concerned with the forums of research in which members are involved.
To influence the direction of national population planning and development by encouraging studies and research in the field of population and broadly utilizing available information.
To serve as a center for coordinating academic transactions among specialists working in governmental and non-governmental agencies in the form of seminars and informal consultation to enhance esprit de corps among the TPA's members.
